Course Description
Students will learn STEM principles to build, program, control, and operate VEX IQ robots. The program includes Introduction to VEX IQ, Build a Drivetrain and Basic VEX IQ Robots, working with complex VEX IQ Robots Proximity Sensors & Multi-directional Controls, Problem Solving Capstone and Competition. This is a camp for students in grades 6-8.
Taught by the Frederick County High Schools students and mentors from the FIRST Robotics Competition Team 686 Bovine Intervention

Mr. Miller has been a mentor to the local FIRST Robotics team for 7 years, having 2 children participate. He continues to be involved in team operations and expansion of the program, providing STEM opportunities to all students within Frederick County.
